Description Student will define and identify (K) the six pillars of character. They will work individually to create their own poster (C). They will choose and interpret (Ap) their pillar by using the textbook definition, their own definition, two quotes by historical figures, actions that can be used for th word and their own pictures or drawings of the pillar. They will organize and create (S) their posters for display. After all posters are complete they will self-evaluate (Ev) and compare (An) all posters. They will present them to the class and then hang them around the school. Character trait: Students will demonstrate the understanding of one of the following pillars of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.

 

Differentiated Instruction

Instruction is tailored to the learning readiness, cultural background, interests, talents, and learning profiles of the students.

Description Students with IEP/50 Accommodations will be addressed according to those accomodations. Other differentiation will be made according to the student needs and included but are not limited to the following: personal agendas for individual deadlines, graphic organizers for research and steps of the process.
