Concepts/TopicsRespectfulness : How does our student code of conduct here at FMS give guideline for respectful behavior? How to treat others with respect. What are the negative ramifications to being disrespectful?

EBAM Have the class brainstorm a list of do's and don'ts for treating people with respect. Ask for specific examples of each behavior they identify.

Process Skills Students will be using creative thinking by creating an original skit illustrating a rule from the student code of conduct and how it shows respesct for others.

Performance TaskA select group of students will perform a skit which demostrates a scenario in which a student does not follow a rule from the FMS handbook thus, showing disrespect for others, school property, etc. (example no gum chewing allowed.)and it's effects. Then the students in groups of 4 will brainstorm on how the disrespectful behavior could be changed to become respectful and name the effects of the respectful behavior. They will then act this out in a skit and video tape it. The students will be filming their own skit and the teacher will then download their videos onto a laptop inorder to project it to the class
