Concepts/TopicsCARING - Students will select the Wilson County Medical Center Emergency Room to help. Students will collect 100+ stuffed animals to donate to the children that visit the emergency room in Floresville. Students will write and illustrate a story about how it feels when you help other people. Student pages will be bound into a class book called "ABC's of Caring". Students pictures of their visit to the hospital to donate the bears are posted on the class web page.

Students will present their page to the class.
Students will put their stories together to make a class book called "ABC's of Caring".
Pictures of the event will be posted on the website.
Performance TaskStudents will write and illustrate a book titled "ABC's of Caring" using caring words to describe how it felt to care for or help other children. Students will present their stories in class with an oral presentation. Students will show respect during the presentations.
